After taking the bus through what must have been the most photogenic landscapes, we passed through a long dark tunnel opening to high valley walls and waterfalls everywhere till we reached the Milford Sound. We'd have liked to done the Milford Track but it's the most popular in New Zealand and waiting lists are months long. Besides it was a bit flat for us, so we walked the Keplar and took the bus to Milford!
